Research Coordinator, Quality and Equity in Osteoarthritis
Andrea Arellano coordinates a 5-year research grant analyzing the treatment choices of osteoarthritis patients. Before joining the University of Arizona Arthritis Center, she was a student volunteer with the UA Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s Study Group where she assisted in investigator-initiated studies. Andrea also was an undergraduate researcher in Dr. John Szivek’s Orthopaedic Research Lab establishing pre-surgical procedures to calibrate implantable sensors for animal subjects.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from the University of Arizona.
