Perry R. Skeath, PhD
Dr. Skeath is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the University of Arizona College of Medicine and Assistant Research Director in the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota and master's and doctoral degrees in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
Prior to coming to the University of Arizona, he was the Senior Research Engineer at SFA Incorporated in Crofton, Maryland, from 2004-08 and a Research Fellow at Pain & Palliative Care Service, National Institutes of Health Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, from 2008-12. He patented a process of preparing electrodes for electro planting which was a assigned to Secretary of US Navy. In addition, Dr. Skeath patented a precision release aerosol device which was assigned to Waterbury companies and patented inventions for gas-assisted atomizing device and methods of making gas-assisted atomizing devices.
He is a member of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center Scientific Advisory Council and an Associate Member of the UA Cancer Center.
