Presenter: Jeffrey Duryea, PhD
Title: Software Methods for Quantitative Image Assessment of the OA Joint

Jeffrey Duryea received a Ph.D. in physics from the University of Minnesota in 1991. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Michigan in 1993 and a post-graduate research appointment at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in 1994. From 1994 to 1996 he held a research scientist position at the Lunar Corporation before his appointment to the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco. In 2002 he joined the faculty at Harvard Medical School in the Radiology Department at Brigham and Women's Hospital. He has spent the last 16 years of his career developing quantitative imaging-based methods to quantify the progression of arthritis and other musculoskeletal diseases.
