Dr. Gondal joined the UA faculty in September, 2025, after completing her rheumatology fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. She completed her undergraduate education at the Nishat School in Multan, Pakistan, before going on to earn her medical doctorate at Nishtar Medical College and Hospital, also in Multan, Pakistan. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona - Tucson, where she was named Outstanding Resident in Rheumatology.

She also served as a full-time clinical observer at both the University of Miami and the University of Arizona, prior to starting her internal medicine residency.  Dr. Gondal is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
