Celebrating a new era in University of Arizona football, former Wildcat legend and College Football Hall of Fame member Ricky Hunley was a featured speaker along with UArizona Vice President for Athletics Dave Heeke.

C. Kent Kwoh, MD, Director of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center and Division Chief of Rheumatology, has co-authored a publication titled: 'Racial and Ethnic Differences in
the Pharmacologic Management of Osteoarthritis: Rapid Systematic Review'.

This award will further Dr. Jordan's research to establish age-specific distribution percentiles for joint space width in the healthy finger joints of African Americans and Whites, separately for men and women, for two time points, using data from the Osteoarthritis Initiative (OAI).

Dr. Kwoh is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Imaging in the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Rheumatology and holds the Charles A.L. and Suzanne M. Stephens Endowed Chair in Rheumatology.  He serves as director of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center, a Center of Excellence in the University of Arizona College of Medicine.

The International Workshop of Osteoarthritis Imaging (IWOAI) is designed for scientists and clinicians, including physicists, engineers, computer scientists, radiologists, rheumatologists and orthopaedic surgeons, and students working on pulse sequences (rf coil design, image reconstruction, musculoskeletal and body imaging), MRI technologists, clinical investigators and anyone pursuing imaging of OA.

His major research interests are in outcome assessment and the examination of risk factors for the development and progression of a broad spectrum of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases.
