Justin T. Dunn, MD

After completing his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Dunn joined the faculty in the Division of Rheumatology as an assistant clinical professor and as a new member of the rheumatology team at Banner – University Medicine Tucson.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine at Pepperdine University and his medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. Dr. Dunn then completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, where he also served as Chief Resident of Quality and Safety.

Dr. Dunn provides care for adults with a wide range of rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases at the Banner – University Medicine Rheumatology Clinic – South Campus. He has a clinical interest in the use of point-of-care ultrasound in rheumatology and has completed advanced training through the Society of Hospital Medicine/CHEST (2022) and the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists (USSONAR, 2025). He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, and the Society of Hospital Medicine.
