Presenter: William Brooks, DO
Title: Restorative Care of Chronic Nonspecific Musculoskeletal Pain Syndromes including Headache and Face Pain: Introduction to Evaluation of Functional Pathology of the Musculoskeletal System

William Brooks, DO is an Adjunct Research Scientist with the A.T. Still Research Institute, contributing as a coinvestigator for DO-Touch practice based research network safety and efficacy investigations. Dr. Brooks completed his BA at Earlham College (Philosophy) in 2013, DO from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1980, and rotating internship at Tucson General Hospital in 1981, subsequent to which he began an osteopathic manipulative medicine private practice with clinical foci on patients with multiregional, chronic, tertiary musculoskeletal pain syndromes and pediatric patients with developmental delays. Board Certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine 1991, Dr. Brooks served as a Consultant, Department of Orthopedic Surgery Park Nicollet Medical Center, Minneapolis, MN 1986-1988, an Instructor and then Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery, Section of Orthopedic Surgery University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ 1989-1996, and an Associate Professor of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, MO 1996-1999. His creative focus has been on development of the Functional Pathology of the Musculoskeletal System paradigm and related research including objectification of palpatory diagnosis of somatic dysfunction.
