Presenters: Edwin Aquino, MD & Manjinder Kaur, DO
Title: Difficult Cases

Edwin Aquino, MD completed his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Arizona and joined the UA Division of Rheumatology faculty as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in June, 2017. He completed a six-year medical program on the Dean's List and earned his Medical Doctorate at the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic, from which he graduated with honors (Cum Laude). He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine in 2014. Dr. Aquino was involved in several clinical trials for rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, vasculitis, gout and systemic lupus erythematosus-related drug therapies. He has a particular interest in providing medical care to minorities and underserved populations, particularly Hispanics. Dr. Aquino is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and National Hispanic Medical Association.

Manjinder Kaur, DO is a second year Rheumatology Fellow in the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She earned a bachelor's degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of California, Davis before going on to earn a doctorate in osteopathic medicine (DO) at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, Calif. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona in June, 2017. She is a member of Sigma Sigma Phi, the American College of Rheumatology, the American College of Physicians, the Arizona Medical Association, the National Scholars' Honor Society and the Golden Key International Honour Society.
