On behalf of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center, we invite you to a special event in celebration of the University of Arizona Arthritis Center’s efforts to combat arthritis in partnership with Arizona Wildcat athletics. This unique collaboration dates back to the early 1980’s and has been carried on into the current era by Center Director C. Kent Kwoh, MD, and UA Vice President for Athletics Greg Byrne. This year’s event will be held at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar at 6360 N. Campbell Avenue, on Thursday, April 21st, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Joining Greg Byrne as keynote speaker at this year’s Bear Down Luncheon is the Voice of the Wildcats, Brian Jeffries. Bringing a unique look into Wildcat athletics and our community at this year’s luncheon, Brian will share a bird’s eye view from the past 29 years broadcasting Wildcat Athletics. The unmistakable voice with unmatched expertise, Brian’s commitment to the University of Arizona and the Tucson community helps us continue on the path to find a cure for arthritis as a debilitating disease. We look forward to joining Greg and Brian in celebrating this collaboration at the 2016 Bear Down Luncheon to raise community awareness and support the University of Arizona Arthritis Center.
