Presenter: Jawad Bilal, MBBS - "Diagnostic and Therapeutic Challenges in a Dying Patient"
Dr. Bilal is a second year Rheumatology Fellow in the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. He completed his undergraduate degree at Government Degree College in Shujabad, Multan, Pakistan, in 2006 and his medical degree (MBBS) at Nishtar Medical College & Hospital, Pakistan, in 2012. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in 2017, where he also served as Chief Resident. Prior to beginning his fellowship, Dr. Bilal was a Research Chief in the UA Department of Internal Medicine.
Presenter: Helene Kramer, DO - "Post-Transplant Rheumatoid Arthritis"
Dr. Kramer is a first year Rheumatology Fellow in the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Tucson. She earned her bachelor's degrees in mathematics and french at Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University in 2011. She went on to complete a doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine/Midwestern University in 2016. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Medstar Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
